I've had great experience owning Panasonics. I prefer Plasmas to LEDs because they are cheaper and look just as good indoors.

It is also THX certified. Another great feature of the Panasonic plasmas is the 2,500 focused field drive that eliminates jittery picture during sports programs or fast moving action scenes. Panasonic plasmas are known for their vibrant color, and deep black levels meaning they have some of the best viewing experience available. This wall mountable TV has over 2 million pixels and 24,576 shades of gradient (color). The sound on this HDTV is great with 10 speakers. This model has a built in bluetooth and wireless adapter for internet access. You can skype while watching TV, multitask due to the dual core processor.
I prefer plasmas over LED / LCD because of the richer color in all cases except outdoor or bright room use. I currently use an older 42 inch Panasonic plasma that has been going strong for 8 years and I will definitely go with another Panasonic plasma when it’s time to upgrade because of my pleasant viewing experience. less
