Windows 7, the newest operating system by Microsoft is finally out! It was released on July 22, 2009. Many people have been holding off on the purchase of a new laptop until this happened. We have categorized the improvements into 4 categories, and here are some of the features:
1) Windows media center – organize your photos, music, or watch and record live TV. You may also watch free internet TV. Choose from a variety of online TV shows and movies.
2) Snap – compare two files side by side with a quick drag to the edge of the screen. You can also resize and arrange windows by dragging them to the edge.
3) Live Taskbar preview – scroll between your open windows, look at thumbnails and full screen previews. The taskbar is all new and is referred to as the superbar. Pin programs to your taskbar, like a post-it note. Post files or programs to the taskbar for easy access.
4) Home Group – Share files, devices, and printers more easily on a home network. -
