Why should I have a ConsumerlandTM Party?
They are a lot of fun and themed. Friends like to get together, spend time with each other, and have some laughs. The added bennefit of this party is you will keep up to date with the latest fashion trends or gadgets. Get together with your friends one night and see who adds the best stuff (or the funniest). Learn what your friends want and be able to give them the best gifts. There is also a pretty good chance someone will buy you something for hosting the party.
What is a ConsumerlandTM Party?
It’s a theme party where friends get together and talk about the stuff they like and want. It is a social event, but can also be used to plan for the new season, school year, Christmas, or upcoming shower. Often hors d’oeuvre or refreshments are served.
How does it work?
Consumerland.com gives each member a profile, which keeps track of each member’s likes and wants. When a member adds new stuff, such as their favorite shoes others can see, rate, comment, or laugh about it. This makes for fun and entertainment. Consumerland also provides a calendar so friends and family know when someone has an upcoming special day, a wishlist for what that person wants, and a shopping list for a simple way to keep track of your shopping.
How do I host a ConsumerlandTM Party?
Call your best friends to see if they want to have a get together. Or send out an Evite for those who are more organized. Select a date and make sure everyone bring a laptop. You can offer your place as the venue or host it anywhere that has internet access. Once everyone signs up to use Consumerland.com you are ready for your party.
