The Nvidia Ion processor allows 1080p HD graphics capabilities. This chip integrated with a processor like the Intel N280 or GN40 and can fit in the palm of your hand; therefore, this powerful processor can be used in smaller netbooks. The result is awesome gaming graphics and 1080 HD output for movie watching. You can play Call of Duty or World of Warcraft if you are so inclined. NVIDIA's claims that the Ion has a 10x performance improvement compared to existing netbook graphics. To me, an important feature is a HDMI output so I would be able to stream Netflix movies in 1080p to my flatscreen.
