How do you know if chest pain is a heart problem not somethi

I commonly have chest pains in my heart location and in my left reduce rib cage beneath my heart, I also often have pain come down into my left arm and fingers.
I am not a worrier at all and only go to the medical doctor if there is one thing certainly wrong with me, I am active and eat properly too -
What is your age? I have heard that you should definately take a stress test, which involves running on a tread mill while being monitored by doctors. I think it is not that expensive and they can catch heart problems by doing this. I think insurance pays for it. Good luck.
